YOGA TEACHER TRAINING(100 Hours - Spring 2026)
APPLICATION IS NOW OPEN (scroll down to apply)
THIS TRAINING IS FOR EXPERIENCED and dedicated yoga practitioners and teachers. In the training you will deepen not only your physical practice (asana, pranayama and meditation), but also your understanding of yoga and buddhist philosophy and develop your ability to teach in a way that touches and transforms other people. While the training will evolve around yoga, we also warmly invite people with other movement backgrounds to join and learn how to bring the heart of yoga into their field or practice.
YOUR PERSONAL GROWTH is at the core of the training. We simply believe that only what is embodied in you through a disciplined practice and a deep understanding, will make a difference in your own life as well as inspire others. To create space for your personal growth, there will be both a retreat at Rört in CPH and a retreat at Möllan in the Swedish forest.
THE COMMUNITY IS KEY in yoga in general and in Rört’s philosophy in particular. During the training there will be an emphasis on how you can create and lead communities, in your classes and beyond. There will also be a strong encouragement to build connections to the other participants through practice, shared reflections and honest feedback.
COURSE LOCATION & DATES
THE TEACHER TRAINING IS A TOTAL OF 100 HOURS, with additional homework consisting of practice, inquiries and reading. The training takes place at Rört Studio (Thoravej 35, Copenhagen) and at Möllan Retreat just 4 hours by car from Copenhagen, with lakes, deep forest, sauna and the occasional moose. The training is taught in English.

TEACHERS & CURRICULUM
THE MAIN TEACHER ON THE TRAINING is Jeppe Skovgaard (the founder and director of Rört). Jeppe has an extensive experience as a teacher and community pioneer (inside yoga, parkour and acroyoga) and has taught workshops, teacher trainings and retreats all over Europe and Asia. In the training you will further meet different guest teachers – each one an expert in their specific fields to allow for in-depth studies and fresh perspectives.
THE CURRICULUM FOR THE TRAINING is put together from various yoga and buddhist resources and will be a mixture of books, essays, podcasts and poems. Once you are enrolled for the training, you will receive a list of resources (must-read and nice-to-read), so that you can already start your studies and dive into the material.
